Ivy Broadway is an American artist, rapper, and songwriter. Originally from South central and raised in Compton, she first gained her exposure from freestyling to one of her friends and started to get good feedback which led to her being more comfortable with rapping out loud. Still developing her style she is finally finding her lane with her expressive rapping and free styling capabilities showing her range and her creative thought process as an artist. In 2018 Ivy began to take rapping more on a intimate level and created a soundcloud account. She intermittently released music from 2018 up until now starting with her Front Desk Freestyle (2018), and ending with her most recent freestyle Said Sum (2020) and much more In between. She signed to Legend Records March of 2019, releasing her first project as a signed artist in October called, Desk Job (2019).

Throughout her career Ivy has auditioned in talent shows as a young teen and even auditioning for American Idol to get in the music scenery. Ivy’s Debut single Pretty Girl Smoke will be released mid November (2020) on all major platforms following with an official Music Video to give a visual of her new vibrant sound with her catchy lyrics. Growing up Ivy liked R&B along with the popular artist like Nicki Minaj and the west coast wave to listen to. Having a wide range of variety of music she listens to Ivy is still creating and working on her own unique sound. Ivy is currently working on her debut EP Lunch Break set to release in hopes of the end of the year. Wanting the world to know she is a serious artist with a lot of versatility Ivy is working on rap projects as well as R&B projects in the future. Wanting to eventually expand to Rock and other genres she hopes her fans will listen and grow with her through those changes.
